No letter from Jordan this week so no update to the blog except what I write.

I did speak to him last week but the internet connection was really bad due to the storm.  Here is what I know.  He said the typhoon was really scary.  He's never been in a storm with 98 miles/hour winds.  He said the Filipino people are very reluctant to accept help when they are trying to rebuild their homes but he is helping where he can.  He is teaching quite a few people right now and really enjoying brining the gospel into people's lives.

One of the members always updates me on his safety and sends me pictures.  Here is a picture of their ward Christmas party.  Jordan said it was raining pretty intensely.

Today she sent me the following little text with the accompanying picture:

"Good day.  This is the family that they are teaching now.  They already went to the church many times."

"Elder Belt and his companion are amazing.  A lot of people here love Elder Belt because he is really good with people.  He is a jolly person and Filipino people like that kind of personality.  He eats whatever food we serve him also and it's amazing.  He is a kind and happy person.  He calls everyone gwapa and gwapo which means beautiful and handsome.  When they hear it from him they smile."
